Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective 2 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Grid Guesser. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. About Grid Guesser

Grid Guesser is an independent motorsport prediction game ("the Service") operated on the Base44 hosting platform. It is a friendly competition between players: you predict finishing orders, the real results are entered after each session, and points are awarded for accuracy.

Grid Guesser is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any racing series, team, circuit or driver. Driver and team names are used for identification purposes only.

2. Accounts and eligibility

To play you must create an account with a valid email address and a display name. You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

One account per person, please. Creating multiple accounts, or using another person's account, is not allowed.

3. Your content and behaviour

You keep ownership of the content you submit — your predictions, display name, bio and profile picture. You give us permission to display that content within the Service (for example, on leaderboards and race pages) and to process it as described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or attempt to manipulate scores, results or leaderboards.
  • Use automated tools, scripts or scraping to interact with the Service.
  • Impersonate others, use offensive display names, or harass other players.
  • Interfere with the Service's operation or other players' enjoyment of it.

4. Predictions, scoring and leaderboards

Predictions must be submitted before the deadline shown for each race. Once the deadline passes (or an admin locks predictions), entries can no longer be changed. Scores are calculated by comparing your prediction with the officially entered results, using the scoring rules described on the Help & Rules page.

The operator may correct scoring errors, adjust results entries, and change scoring rules or game features. Material changes will be reflected on the Help & Rules page; where a change affects a live competition we will aim to communicate it clearly in advance.

5. Private leagues

League creators are responsible for the leagues they run, including managing members and admins. League content must follow the same behaviour rules as section 3. We may remove leagues or members that breach these terms.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

We aim to keep Grid Guesser available and working well, but the Service is provided "as is". We don't promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular feature will always be available. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and may update these terms from time to time — the version number and date at the top of this page show which version applies. If we make material changes, we will ask you to review and re-accept the updated terms in the app.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, cheat, abuse other players, or put the Service or its users at risk. You can stop using the Service and delete your profile at any time from Settings.

8. Intellectual property

The Grid Guesser name, branding, design and app content are owned by the operator or licensed for use in the Service. Third-party names (such as drivers, teams and circuits) belong to their respective owners. You may not copy or reuse Grid Guesser's branding or content outside the Service without permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party infrastructure (hosting, authentication, email delivery and analytics provided through the Base44 platform). Those providers process information as described in the Privacy Policy. If third-party sign-in or payment features are enabled in future, additional provider terms may apply and this policy will be updated first.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Subject to that, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost prizes, opportunities or data arising from your use of the Service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Grid Guesser is a free game played for fun. No real-world prize, wagering or gambling element is offered.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting your mandatory consumer rights where you live.
